The Academy graduate has made 21 appearances in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers' men this season and regularly catches the eye with his dedicated style of play.

Speaking to CITY Matchday Magazine, which will be available for just £3 on Monday, Choudhury assessed the Foxes’ fourth meeting with Aston Villa this campaign.

City come into the game on the back of a 1-0 FA Cup Fifth Round victory over Birmingham City on Wednesday, which set up a quarter-final clash with Chelsea.

The midfielder has made 16 league appearances for the Foxes this season.

“It’s all about fine details in football," the England Under-21 international revealed. "We have gone through a bit of a tough spell, as most teams do, and it’s likely to happen at some point in the season.

“I hope that the win in the FA Cup on Wednesday will help us put those defeats behind us and helps us build momentum so that we can get as many points from the final 10 games as we can.

“It has been difficult and some things go against you, so the focus for us is to stay tight as a group and help each other get through this stage so that we can get back to playing the type of football we were beforehand.

“We know what Aston Villa are about and we know we’ve got a job on our hands. We were really disappointed over the last two games against them and, ultimately, the result.

“However, we can take great confidence from the league game we played at Villa Park. The intensity and level of quality that we showed is something that we need to bring back into our game – and hopefully we can do that at King Power Stadium against them.

"These are the sorts of games that you grow up watching and you dream of being out there. To have that chance is something I’m very grateful for. But we’ve got a job to do and that’s all we’re thinking about."

It’s a massive game, coupled with the fact that we have 10 league games left now.

The 22-year-old also discussed Leicester’s impending FA Cup Quarter-Final against Chelsea and believes it can only be a benefit to be drawn as the home side.

He added: “We’ve played Chelsea twice this season and we drew with them both times – and it’s a massive advantage being at King Power Stadium and having our fans behind us.

“It’s a massive game, coupled with the fact that we have 10 league games left now, so we’re keen to finish the season off well and progress in the cup.”
