About the role

Based at Leicester City’s new world class training ground, the role will work within a wider maintenance team responsible for maintaining the high standards of this exemplary venue.

The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of painting, decorating and repair services across the estate’s multiple buildings through delivering a preventative maintenance schedule.

Reporting to the Club’s Facilities Manager the postholder will be responsible for regular inspections and ensuring repair work is conducted in a safe and effective manner. 

The training ground is operational for seven days per week and the postholder will be required to work flexibly alongside the wider maintenance team.

Who we’re looking for

The Club is looking for a highly skilled technician who is comfortable working autonomously yet within a wider maintenance team. 

As well as possessing trade experience – certification of elevated working/scaffold towers is desirable – the Club is seeking an individual with excellent communication skills as well as confidence in their ability to prioritise, problem-solve and make decisions. 

Moreover, as the maintenance team will regularly operate around the users of the facility, we’re looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills.
