How The Blue Army Followed Saturday's Palace Success

The Blue Army toasted Jamie Vardy netting his 100th and 101st goals for the Club, as well as Leicester City's 3-0 triumph over Crystal Palace, on social media across Saturday afternoon.

Kelechi Iheanacho's 49th-minute goal got the Foxes up and running at King Power Stadium, before Vardy made another piece of history in Leicester's colours, joining the illustrious 100 club.

After adding another goal to his tally, the 33-year-old took his 2019/20 total up to 21, keeping him top of the Premier League's seasonal goalscoring charts, on a memorable day for City's fans...


There was understandably some nerves among the Foxes faithful ahead of kick-off as Leicester went in search of a first top-flight victory since English football's return.

The excitement continued to build as the Club's official Twitter page posted the epic pre-match montage which is played at King Power Stadium ahead of every home game.

The game itself

After an encouraging first 45 minutes, the Foxes began to take control of the game and the Club's supporters - some of whom starred in the goal announcements - could relax.

Vardy's big moment

In the 77th minute, City's No.9 collected Harvey Barnes' assist to score his 100th goal in the Premier League - becoming the first-ever Leicester player to do so.

And then the 33-year-old got another!


At the full-time whistle, meanwhile, the City faithful - and a few of the players themselves - took to social media to express their joy...
