Facilities Assistant

Leicester City Football Club is looking for a Facilities Assistant to operate at the Club's new training ground.

About The Role

Based at Leicester City’s new world-class training ground, the key duties of this role include: 

- Picking up and transporting goods in and out of the training ground as well as across the Club’s other sites
- Carrying out minor non-technical maintenance tasks and upkeep duties (such a bulb rounds, filter changing and plant cleaning)
- Assisting departments across the Club when required with lifting and moving of equipment
- Monitoring and reporting any damages or defects to building fabrics or equipment
- Liaising with reception staff for the setup of meetings or classrooms

Who We’re Looking For

As the ideal candidate you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll work well under your own initiative but will enjoy operating as part of team with a willingness to work unsociable hours.

You’ll have a flexible approach to shift patterns, having an understanding of the unique operation you’re apart of.

It’s important that you’re physically able to lift and manoeuvre heavy items as this will be a predominant part of your role.

While not essential, holding a forklift or MEWP qualification is desirable, as is having hotel or conferencing porter experience.

Salary - £18,135.00 plus Club benefits

Leicester City Football Club offers a competitive salary and pension scheme with life assurance to all its permanent employees. Employees are able to benefit from free onsite parking as well as an onsite subsidised staff restaurant. Employees also benefit from up to 33 days’ annual leave including bank holidays. Access to an Employee Assistance Programme from the date of joining.

Contract Type – Permanent
Hours Per Week – 37.5hrs worked on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings.
