Matchday Grounds Staff

About The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Club’s Grounds Team to provide additional support to our matchday operation.

The primary focus of the role will be to assist with match repairs throughout a matchday including after player warmups, at half time and post-match.

Responsibilities will include divoting, mowing, deploying lighting rigs, seeding the pitch, and sweeping the track.

You’ll also support with the removal of goals, including portable goals and ball stop safety for pre-match training on the day.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have current or previous experience in the grounds maintenance industry, with a flexible and professional approach to work.

This role is matchday based and therefore you will need to be available to work unsociable hours including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.

Rate of Pay – £9.30per hour

Contract Type – Casual

Hours Per Week – As this is a casual role, hours of work are not guaranteed. Hours will be offered dependant on fixtures for all home games of the season. On a typical matchday you can expect to work approximately 6 hours. You’ll be required to work two hours prior to kick off for preparation and will work an additional two hours post-match to assist with pitch repairs.
