City's latest fixture sees the team visit the Eagles on Sunday (2pm kick-off), aiming to record back-to-back league victories at Hayes Lane.

LCFC Women manager Morgan will be without Holly Morgan and Freya Thomas for the encounter in south London, but hopes to have them back fit after October's international break.

Thomas missed the win over Liverpool after picking up a knock in training and has not quite recovered in time to be in contention for the trip to the capital, while Morgan's foot injury continues to keep her out of the squad.

"We have Freya still out and Holly is out too," Morgan explained. "Hopefully both of those two will be back into training next week, that's the plan, to reintegrate them back into the squad.

Jonathan Morgan will be without several first team players for the trip to Crystal Palace.

"We'll be delighted to get Freya and Holly back next week if we can."

Elsewhere, Sam Tierney had to be taken off during last weekend's game against Liverpool and has joined forward Hannah Cain (foot) among City's absentees.

However, there's better news for midfielder Annabel Blanchard, who came through Sunday's fixture unscathed, featuring as a late substitute in the victory at Farley Way Stadium.

Morgan said: "Annabel, obviously, she came off the bench on Sunday and she's had a full week's training for the first time in a month so that's brilliant."

With the attacking quality and depth at his disposal, Morgan believes any line-up he picks to face the Eagles will be good enough to produce a positive performance and result.

"When you've got the likes of Lachante Paul, Millie Farrow, Tash Flint, Paige Bailey-Gayle, Ruesha Littlejohn, Libby Smith, Liv Fergusson, when you've got all those to choose from, we are very fortunate with that," he added.

"The challenge for me now as the manager and for the coaching staff is to find the right combination of players so we can get that performance consistency week in, week out."
