Morgan says the transition has been smooth, with players old and new settling into life within a full-time environment, with the support and backing of the Club.

"It's been a long journey to get to this point today, but it's been a real positive journey working with the men's team," Morgan revealed to LCFC TV.

"It's been really, really easy, to keep the values with there being no dramatic change since the integration, it has been really seamless.

"Leicester have worked really hard over the years and there's been many positive conversations to get to this point. We're really pleased to be full-time and integrated with the men. Yes, change happens, but I feel everyone's settled in really well.

"And it's been really, really easy to keep the values with there being no dramatic change since the integration, it has been really seamless. Obviously, things have gone good, we've got some lessons to learn on how to improve things in the future, but it's a learning process.

"Everybody's gelling and settling in, it's a new team, full-time for the first time for many of them. I'm always there at the games, I watch nervously, excitedly, but you know, I'm really pleased with how they're looking."

The core of the team remains from previous seasons, including manager Jonathan Morgan, captain Holly Morgan and several local players looking to make an impact in the elite game. Morgan believes it is a huge positive to be helping existing players and staff move forward in their careers.

"That's one thing that is a key ethos of mine: just giving people opportunities from the staff side of things," she continued.
