On Monday evening, the Foxes make their first Premier League visit to the Yorkshire club since 2004, prompting many more recent memories in the Football League for the Blue Army.
Ahead of that clash with Marcelo Bielsa's Whites, LCFC.com rolls the years back six years to a big result for City in their hunt for promotion...

David Nugent's dramatic late strike secured win no.18 in 2013/14 - and a sixth consecutive victory - as Leicester City gathered steam towards ending a 10-year exile from the Premier League.
Midway through an unbeaten run that would eventually stretch to 21 league outings, the Foxes headed to Elland Road to tackle Brian McDermott's Whites on Saturday 18 January, 2014.
Following a 6-0 reverse for Leeds to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday, McDermott's hosts started brightly, carving out several opportunities to stun Leicester early on.
Indeed, City suffered a major scare early on when Ross McCormack hit the post, but it was City who would return to the East Midlands with three heard-earned points.
Nigel Pearson
Then-City manager Nigel Pearson watches on from the Elland Road sidelines.
At the age of 40-years-old, veteran striker Kevin Phillips emerged from the bench to make his debut for the Club and the former Sunderland man would play a key role too.
An inventive dummy from Phillips allowed the ball to run through to Nugent, with 10 minutes remaining, and the one-capped England striker did the rest, beating Paddy Kenny.
A 1-0 win at Elland Road allowed the Foxes to open up a five-point advantage over second-placed Queens Park Rangers as they also went six clear of Burnley in third place.
Jamie Vardy & Wes Morgan
Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan toast the victory at full-time in Yorkshire.
Reflecting on the performance at full-time, manager Nigel Pearson said: "It depends on how you want to look at it.
"Some people could argue we were a bit fortunate, or from our perspective we would say that, on a day that it wasn't a polished performance, we showed different qualities."
