Wolverhampton Wanderers are the visitors to King Power Stadium for a 2pm kick-off in the Premier League, and City have good reason to be confident ahead of the game.

As does Thomas, who has now featured in City’s last three victories in all competitions, including two convincing wins in just four days against Leeds United on Monday and most recently SC Braga on Thursday.

Sunday sees Nuno Espírito Santo’s talented Wolves side visit Filbert Way, as the Foxes attempt to make it six wins on the spin in all competitions.

“They’re quite an attacking team and they're good going forward and also very strong defensively,” Thomas said.

Luke Thomas embraces Youri Tielemans after the Belgian scored his second goal of the season against Leeds on Monday.

“It's going to be a very tough game for us, but hopefully we can stay together with the confidence we've got in the team.

“I always believe that we can get the three points. Hopefully, we can go out there on Sunday and come away with a victory.”

The potency of Wolves’ attack is one that Thomas and his team-mates will work hard to suppress, and while the potential prospect of coming up against the likes of Adama Traoré could be a challenging one, the 19-year-old is happy to take it in his stride.

“I feel like I take that as a positive playing against a player with aspects such as him,” said Thomas when asked about facing speedster Traoré.

The Syston local made his European bow and second appearance of the season in the 2-1 UEFA Europa League victory away to AEK Athens.

“He's strong, physically big and obviously very fast. And he's one of the best at one-vs.-one duels in the world.

“But obviously, I'll try my best and hopefully we can, if I get the chance to play, win the game and I can deal with that.

“I feel like we're with playing a lot of confidence at the minute and obviously, off the back of a 4-1 victory at Leeds, hopefully, we can go out there and continue playing with confidence and get the three points.”
