Sarah Wilson & Beth Hepple

Captain Sarah Wilson and top scorer Beth Hepple have both been key figures for the Wildcats this season.

Beth Hepple has been in outstanding form for the Wildcats this season, scoring 11 goals in 20 matches across all competitions. A product of Durham's academy, she is the club's record appearance holder (165 games) and has found the net 68 times in total since her debut in 2014.

Defender and captain Sarah Wilson is another one of the North East club's longest-serving players, one appearance away from her 150th for the club, having joined the Wildcats in 2014. She is known for being a reliable presence in defence and also a threat in the opposition box.

Midfielder Mollie Lambert was a summer arrival at the club following an impressive stint at Sunderland in the National League. She scored the winner in Durham's recent 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Hayes Lane - her first goal since joining the Wildcats.

Bridget Galloway's early goal put Durham ahead against Lewes.

Durham remain unbeaten in 2020/21 and have recorded four straight league victories ahead of this fixture. Starting the year with a 1-1 draw at Lewes, a succession of 1-0 wins over Crystal Palace, London Bees and London City Lionesses ensured Lee Sanders' team kept pace with City.

The Wildcats triumphed again last weekend, beating Blackburn Rovers 2-0, with both goals coming in the final 20 minutes. Bridget Galloway was on the scoresheet for the third time in five games, alongside Sarah Robson.

Durham were also bidding to reach their first Continental Tyres League Cup Semi-Final when they took on Women's Super League outfit West Ham United in the last eight. A 3-0 defeat at the Hammers' Chigwell Construction Stadium ended an impressive cup run from the North East club.
