After winning the Championship with the Foxes in 2014, Morgan became the first captain in the Club’s history to lift a top-flight title after the heroics of the 2016 Premier League-winning campaign.

Then, to conclude a memorable playing career in which he amassed over 700 professional appearances, Morgan helped the Foxes win the Emirates FA Cup for the first time in their 137-year existence.

In an open letter, the 37-year-old thanked the Club’s fans for their support since his move to King Power Stadium in 2012, and they returned their gratitude across social media upon hearing the news that he will hang up his boots.
