Leicester City’s Development Squad kick-start the 2021/22 Papa John’s Trophy at Fleetwood Town on Tuesday 31 August (7:45pm kick-off).

The Foxes have been drawn in Group G of the Northern Section of the competition and are among 16 invited Under-21s teams that will compete against League 1 and League 2 sides in the tournament.
An away trip to Accrington Stanley follows on Tuesday 5 October (7:45pm kick-off), before City’s youngsters travel to Holker Street to take on Barrow on Tuesday 9 November (7:45pm kick-off).
The Foxes reached the quarter-finals of the competition in 2019/20 and made it to Round 3 last season, narrowly missing out to League 2 side Tranmere Rovers. Ticket details will be confirmed on LCFC.com in due course, while all fixtures are subject to change.
