Brendan Rodgers says Leicester City can still be more proactive in their game as the 2021/22 campaign hurtles towards a key juncture with the visit to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.
The Foxes have a 50 per cent win record from their opening four matches in the Premier League – overcoming Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City – while also drawing their UEFA Europa League opener against Napoli on Filbert Way on Thursday evening.
While displaying promising signs in many of those outings, Rodgers knows Leicester can unlock a different level to their game, one which includes greater retention of the ball and a slicker passing style in the final third. The Northern Irishman now wants to see that develop in Brighton on Sunday.
