The Foxes entertain the Clarets on Filbert Way in a 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday hoping to get back to winning ways in the Premier League but buoyed by Wednesday's 2-0 Carabao Cup triumph at Millwall.

Bertrand did not feature at The Den but could return to the Leicester XI for the upcoming encounter with Sean Dyche's men and the former Chelsea and Southampton left-back was keen to point out the scale of the task inside CITY Matchday Magazine, the Club's official programme.

"I think you know what you’re going to get from Burnley, they’re a tough team," he said. "In order to play, you need to nullify their strengths and that’s when you can assert your game on them and focus on what you’re going to do to get the win.

The game against Napoli was superb and you could feel it was a special night. The energy that the crowd brought and the environment created made it feel like it was a big occasion.

"We need to be aware of their strengths, their tactics and what they like to do also."

The 32-year-old is also looking forward to experiencing the unique Filbert Way atmosphere once more and credited the efforts of the Foxes faithful during the 2-2 draw with Napoli in the UEFA Europa League earlier this month.

"It’s a very special place to play," he added. "The game against Napoli was superb and you could feel it was a special night. The energy that the crowd brought and the environment created made it feel like it was a big occasion.

"With respect, it felt like it was more of a knockout game than a group-stage match, which is testament to the atmosphere the fans create here. It’s amazing and I’m sure we’ll have the same against Burnley and for more special occasions here moving forward."
