The Foxes will face the 22-time Russian champions in a 3:30pm kick-off at Otkrytie Bank Arena on matchday three in the competition after picking up one point from their opening two outings. Speaking in Moscow, Rodgers revealed he'll have a largely fully fit squad to pick from in the Russian capital.

"Ayoze Pérez was the only one that hasn't travelled," the 48-year-old confirmed. "He's just didn't feel well last night, so we let him go through the night to see how he was, but he didn't feel better. He stayed at home, so hopefully a couple of days rest will make him feel right for the weekend."

Centre-back Jonny Evans returned to a Leicester starting XI for the first time since 22 September on Saturday as the Foxes defeated Manchester United 4-2 at King Power Stadium and Rodgers is hopeful that the Northern Ireland centre-back will be available for selection on Wednesday.

Jonny Evans provided stability and experience against Man Utd on Saturday.

"We'll do a session this evening and we're hoping he'll be fine and come through that," the Foxes manager added. "He's had no bad reaction to the weekend. He had a little bit of cramp and we took him off, but he's had two days recovery and we'll see how he is after this session tonight.

"We will pick a team to win the game, like we always do. We come off a really good performance and we want to have stability in the team and continue with that. We have all our fit players here because it's a very important game for us. This game is very important and you'll see the team tomorrow."
