The Foxes have recently dispatched Norwich City and Watford – hitting eight goals in the process – to climb into the top half of the Premier League with two games remaining. They face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (8pm kick-off) before hosting Southampton on Sunday (4pm kick-off).

Dewsbury-Hall, who scooped the Club's Mens Players' Player and Young Player of the Season awards earlier this week, highlighted the importance of positive momentum to end the campaign when speaking to LCFC TV at in Seagrave.

"You want to finish the season on a high," the 23-year-old said inside the King Power Centre. "It puts everyone in a positive mindset going into the start of next season. That’s no different for us, we want to finish as high as we can in the league and those two games will help us do that.

"We’ve got two games left that we really want to have some positive results from because we’ll go into next season on the back of a good finish, ready to kick on again and achieve good things. We’re really looking forward to [facing Chelsea].

"It’s a big game, they’re a big team, and they’re the sort of games you want to play in. It’s a lovely stadium and, off the back of a good win, we’re in good confidence. We’ve got a lot of players back now and we’re going to go there and try and get a positive result for the fans and for us.

Dewsbury-Hall: Get A Positive Result For The Fans

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall takes stock on his brilliant 2021/22 and previews Thursday's final away day of the season at Chelsea.

"They’ve had a couple of results we wouldn’t have expected to see, but that’s football. We’re going to go there with great confidence that we can beat them. We’ve showed that in the past in massive games in this Club’s history, so it’s something we’re preparing for. We’re going to go there to get the three points."

On the back of a 5-1 triumph over Watford at Vicarage Road, Dewsbury-Hall is confident that Leicester can prevail again in west London if they deliver a performance with the same energy and tempo.

"I was really happy [with the team performance]," he added. "We showed great quality in the game. Some really, really good phases of play, fantastic combination play and finishes. We had a tough start but we didn’t let that affect us and we really put them to the sword in the second half.

"We ended up with a resounding win. It’s two great wins on the bounce, eight goals scored, that’s the level we want to be at. We want to keep striving to get to that level and it’s putting us in good stead for the rest of the season and moving into next season."

The Shepshed-based central midfielder has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with City's senior side this season. After joining the Club at the age of eight, Dewsbury-Hall has emerged through the ranks, via loan spells at Blackpool and Luton Town, to become a key figure in the first team.

I was a bit speechless [on winning Players' Player of the Season]. It was an unbelievable feeling.

"I'm immensely proud," he said, reflecting on his brace of accolades at the Club's 2021/22 End of Season Awards. "It fills me with a lot of pride to win those two awards. It tops off a great season for me personally. It’s one that I’m really proud of.

"I’d like to say a big thank you to the fans for their support, and to my team-mates for bringing me into the dressing room, taking to me and making me feel like one of their own. It means a lot for a young player and it gives you a lot of confidence so I’m really thankful for that.

"I was a bit speechless [on winning Players' Player of the Season]. It was an unbelievable feeling. For me, that’s the best award. They’re the ones you’re with day in, day out. They’re your colleagues and you’re with them for nine months of the year every day really. You see them more than some of your family.

Foxes Hit Five Past Watford At Vicarage Road

All the goals from Hertfordshire as Leicester City secure a brilliant 5-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League.

"We’ve got a really good dressing room here. We’ve got full internationals, Premier League winners, top players, so it’s really nice and humbling to know they acknowledge my efforts and that I have that respect. That’s something I’m really grateful for and something I’ll keep striving to get."

Dewsbury-Hall will be hoping to make his 43rd appearance of the season on Thursday – after earning a place in the Leicester XI over winter.

"It's been a really positive season," City's No.22 explained. "I’m glad that I’ve progressed again off the back of last season. That’s something I always want to do, I want to keep progressing year on year, never resting on my laurels. It’s lovely to play the amount of games that I did.

"I had to be patient and then, when I got into the team, I made sure that I tried to keep my place. I know how ruthless this game is, it’s so cut-throat. I’ll look back at the end of the season with great fondness.

"I’ve scored by first goals for the Club in numerous competitions and played in the best league in the world, so it’s something which has been surreal at times, but really, really great."
