Leicester City captain Kasper Schmeichel made his 84th appearance for Denmark on Monday in a 2-0 victory over Austria at Parken Stadium.
More on this story...

- Kasper Schmeichel kept a clean sheet in Denmark's 2-0 win over Austria
- De Rød-Hvide currently lead the way in League A Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League
- Three youngsters helped England's Under-18s win a four-nation tournament in Zagreb
- Skipper Sammy Braybrooke played alongside Ben Nelson and Kian Pennant for the Young Lions

Nobody has earned more international caps during their time at the Club than Schmeichel, who skippered De Rød-Hvide in Copenhagen. In a fourth successive UEFA National League clash, Jonas Wind put Denmark ahead midway through the first half, before later teeing up Andreas Skov Olsen.

It's a result which means Kasper Hjulmand's men – who had Jannik Vestergaard and Daniel Iversen on the bench – sit top of League A Group 1 with nine points from four games. Croatia are second on seven, Austria sit third with four, and world champions France are bottom after picking up two points.

All of Kasper Schmeichel's 84 caps for Denmark have come during his time at Leicester City.

Earlier in the day, three young Foxes – Sammy Braybrooke, Ben Nelson and Kian Pennant – all started for England's U18s in a 0-0 draw with Croatia. That stalemate, which ended in a 4-3 penalty shootout win, was ultimately enough for Ryan Garry's side to win the four-nation tournament in Zagreb.

Braybrooke, the Club's Academy Player of the Season for 2021/22, captained the Young Lions for the clash. It came following a 3-2 victory over Austria last Tuesday and a 2-0 success against Wales on Friday. Those results meant England simply had to avoid defeat to seal the championship.

There is now just one day of international action left for Leicester City players, on Tuesday, and seven Foxes stars could feature. Check @LCFC on social media and LCFC.com/internationals for updates.
