Development Squad & Academy Fixtures Confirmed For 2022/23 Season

- Leicester City's Development squad to host Tottenham Hotspur in PL2 season opener
- Fixtures to take place at Leicester City’s Training Ground
- Premier League International Cup to return for Development Squad
- Under-18s fixtures have also been confirmed by the Premier League

The Foxes – who finished eighth in the table last season - will welcome Spurs to the LCFC Training Ground for their opening round fixture.

City’s youngsters will then travel north to face off with Manchester City in the first away fixture of the season on Sunday 14 August, before hosting West Ham United on Friday 19 August.

Closing out the year prior to an extended winter break, the Foxes will take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Friday 4 November, before returning to home action against Chelsea in the New Year on Monday 9 January.

The final three fixtures of the campaign will see the Foxes host Manchester United and Everton on Monday 17 April and Monday 24 April, respectively, before playing West Ham United away from home on Friday 28 April.

Their Papa John's Trophy and Premier League International Cup fixtures have also been confirmed for the new campaign. Trips to Burton Albion, Bradford City and Sheffield Wednesday await in the Papa John's Trophy, while the team will host Valencia, Wolfsburg, Porto and Celtic as the International Cup returns.

Alongside the Development Squad schedule, fixtures have been confirmed for the Club’s Under-18s side, who also begin their 2022/23 campaign with a home meeting against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 13 August before travelling to Chelsea a week later.
