Busy September Schedule For Foxes Internationals

The latest international window will see several Leicester City players in action across various levels over the next two weeks.

- Nineteen Leicester City stars could be involved in international matches in September
- Thirteen first team players selected to represent their countries this month
- Several youngsters also in contention to play for their nations' youth sides

Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne and Wout Faes have all been named in Roberto Martínez's Belgium squad for UEFA Nations League fixtures versus Wales and the Netherlands.

Kicking off against the Dragons on Thursday 22 September (7:45pm kick-off), the trio could come up against team-mate Danny Ward, who has also been selected by his nation for the fixture at King Baudouin Stadium.

The Red Devils then travel to Holland for a match-up with the Dutch on Sunday 25 September to conclude the League A Group 4 campaign, while Ward's Wales host Poland in Cardiff on the same night (both 7:45pm kick-offs).

Belgium are currently second in the table, on seven points from four games, and three points behind the Netherlands, with Wales fourth, on one point.

Youri Tielemans was on the scoresheet the last time Belgium met Wales, in Cardiff earlier this year.

A double header also awaits for Jonny Evans and Northern Ireland, who meet Kosovo at Windsor Park on Saturday 24 September (5pm kick-off), before taking on Greece in Athens the following Tuesday (7:45pm kick-off).

As it stands, the Green & White Army sit third in League C Group 2, on two points, with opponents Kosovo (second) and Greece (first) on six and 12 points respectively.

Turkey centre-back Çağlar Söyüncü, on the other hand, is another Leicester City representative in the Nations League. After entertaining Luxembourg at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium on Thursday 24 September, the Crescent-Stars are set to travel to face Faroe Islands in Tórshavn on Sunday (both 7:45pm kick-offs).

City's No.4 and his international team-mates top League C Group 1 ahead of the final two matchdays, having won all four games without conceding a single goal. At least a draw against Luxembourg would confirm first place in their pool.

Turkey have a perfect record in their Nations League group so far.

In Africa, meanwhile, Patson Daka and Zambia tackle Mali in a double header friendly fixture on Friday 23 September and again three days later. Both are 8pm kick-offs at Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako.

Also set to be in action on Friday is Daniel Amartey as Ghana play Brazil at Stade Océane in an international friendly at 7:30pm, ahead of the Black Stars taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco in Spain on Tuesday 27 September.

There could be minutes for Papy Mendy, too, when Senegal tackle Bolivia at Stade de la Source in France on Saturday 24 September (6pm kick-off), before Iran are the CAF Africa Cup of Nations champions' next friendly opponents the following Tuesday.

Elsewhere, Nigerian pair Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi are in the squad for a fixture away to Algeria on Tuesday 27 September (8pm kick-off).

England's Under-21s - with Luke Thomas named in the squad - travel to meet Italy Under-21s on Thursday in a 4:30pm kick-off, prior to the Young Lions hosting Germany Under-21s in another friendly five days later (7:45pm kick-off).

On the same night (Tuesday 27 September), Development Squad duo Oliver Ewing and Iestyn Hughes could be involved as Wales Under-21s travel to face Austria Under-21s (6:30pm kick-off).

The Dragons' Under-19s squad, meanwhile, have three upcoming UEFA European U19 Championship qualifiers, starting with Hungary Under-19s this Wednesday (4pm kick-off), when young forward Chris Popov could get minutes for his country.

They then play Ireland Under-19s away on Saturday (1pm kick-off), before wrapping up the international window by travelling to play Gibraltar Under-19s next Tuesday (6pm kick-off).

Their second game, on Saturday, is against Georgia Under-19s, ahead of hosting Denmark Under-19s next Tuesday (both 1pm kick-offs).

England's Under-18s, on the other hand, have named Foxes prospect Will Alves in their squad for three home matches, starting with Netherlands Under-18s on Wednesday (4pm kick-off).

Faroe Islands Under-18s are next up on Friday (1:30pm kick-off), concluding against Belgium Under-18s on Monday (10:30am kick-off).
