Defeat In The Capital For City's Under-18s

Leicester City's Under-18s were beaten 5-1 by Crystal Palace in U18 Premier League on Saturday morning.

After consecutive wins for the young Foxes, against Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton respectively, they travelled to south London to face the Eagles in league action at Crystal Palace Training Ground.

The hosts were two goals up by 11 minutes, after goals from Zach Marsh and David Obou. The Foxes did claw one back in the 16th minute through Josh King, who was assisted by Jayden Joseph.

Against a team currently second in the standings, the result keeps Leicester eighth, with 19 points, and seven above bottom-placed Norwich City.

However, second half goals from Marsh, Obou and Anthony Dixon rounded off the scoreline as City now look ahead to their league fixture against Arsenal at Arsenal Training Centre on Tuesday 28 March with an 11:30am GMT kick-off.
