Loanee Flint Scores First Celtic Goal In Big Hoops Triumph

Natasha Flint netted in Celtic’s 5-1 win over Hearts as three other City loanees featured in last weekend’s fixtures.

There were four Foxes in action across league and cup competition, starting with striker Flint who scored her first goal for Celtic in the Scottish Cup Quarter-Finals.

Charlie Devlin was a second half substitute in Birmingham City's loss to Brighton.

Elsewhere, Birmingham City faced off against Barclays Women’s Super League opponents Brighton & Hove Albion in the quarter-finals of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on Sunday, with Charlie Devlin a late substitute at St. Andrew's Stadium. 

Poppy Pattison and Danielle Carter, from the penalty spot, made the difference with two goals in four minutes. Up next for Devlin’s Blues in the Championship on Wednesday evening is Crystal Palace, who are currently one place and two points behind Darren Carter's outfit.

The final loan player in action for Leicester was Sophie Barker who played a full game in Sheffield United’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground. Barker’s side had the lead in the 18th minute through Mia Enderby but were held to a point after Abbey Joice’s equaliser in the second half. 

The Blades move up to 10th in the division, two points behind the Black Cats, having both played 17 matches.
