We Have To Remain Confident, Says Evans

City's most recent Premier League 2 fixture saw them beaten by the Blues at Kingsmeadow after two late goals from the hosts in Kingston saw the Foxes fall to their third consecutive defeat.
Looking to build on the positives, which included a goal for himself, Evans believes the performance was there, making the result that bit harder to take.
"After the last game on Monday, a bad result in which we lost 2-1, we didn't really follow the game plan that we set up," the goalscorer said. "Going into this one we tried to focus on our standards, so it's disappointing to lose but we're quite happy with the performance.
We have to be confident going into every game, otherwise you're not going to get a result.

"It was a good goal to be fair. I've seen Kian Pennant drop into the half space and I saw the gap to make the run in behind. I saw the 'keeper and I thought he was going to dive early so I caught him out by going high at the near post."
Looking to bounce back on Friday evening when they host Aston Villa at LCFC Training Ground, the Under-21s also have a Bristol Street Motors Trophy match coming up in the near future when they take on Northampton Town four days later at Sixfields Stadium. The youngster believes the squad must stay strong to turn around results and get back to winning ways.
Evans added: "We have to be confident going into every game, otherwise you're not going to get a result. We also have an EFL Trophy game against Northampton coming up so we've got to make sure we remain confident."
