Leicester City have been handed an East Midlands derby after being drawn against Derby County in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The tie will take place at Pride Park on the weekend of 28-29 January, in between the Foxes’ Premier League trips to Southampton and Burnley.

It is a mouth-watering clash for the Blue Army, who haven’t seen their side face the Rams since gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2014.

City have lost just one of their last nine games against their rivals, winning eight times including a 4-1 victory in the most recent encounter.

On target twice for the Foxes that day was former frontman David Nugent, who City could potentially come up against after Derby completed the signing of the striker this week.

A date and time for the fixture, as well as ticket details, will be confirmed in due course on LCFC.com.
