Ron-Robert Zieler is under no illusions as to how difficult Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round tie at Millwall will be.

The Leicester City stopper says his side must be fully prepared for , as they take on a Millwall outfit that are in fine form.

Neil Harris’ men have avoided defeat in their last 12 games in all competitions and have in that time beaten AFC Bournemouth and Watford in the FA Cup.

“Especially at their ground, I think they’re really strong,” Zieler told LCFC TV. “Playing against the champions, they’ll really go for it and it’ll be a good atmosphere. They will really go at us, so we have to be ready for it.

“At the end of the day, we should have the better quality, but it’s not all about quality. On that day, we have to make sure we’re prepared for the occasion and we will step up to the level.

“Not every week they get a Premier League team at home, or not the champions. I think it’s probably one of their biggest games of the season and they’ll really go for it, so we have to be prepared.

“We’re up to the challenge but I think in the end it’s possible to through to the next round. We want to get a positive result, because the last couple of weeks haven’t been good for us. We have to make sure that every opportunity we have, we get a good result.

“We’re looking forward now to the next game, which we think is going to be very tough especially away from home. The atmosphere is going to be very good and I’ve heard a lot of things about it.”

For Zieler, there is more than one incentive of reaching the final of England’s most prestigious cup competition, but the ‘keeper knows his side must take each game as it comes.

He added: “It’s always the same with cup competitions. At the end of it, there is a fantastic opportunity to play in the Europa League. If you’re not doing too well in the league, the cup is a good chance.

“Playing at Wembley is a fantastic experience and the possibility of playing European football should be in the minds of the players. We have to go step by step, obviously.”
