Fox & Crop Launches 2015 Spring/Summer Collection

British Summer Time is officially here and brings with it the hotly anticipated 2015 Spring/Summer collection from Fox & Crop.

Now available online at , Fenwick Leicester and the City Fanstore at King Power Stadium, the new men’s and women’s collections are the latest offering from Leicester’s fastest-growing fashion brand, whose reputation continues to go from strength to strength.
The new range is the fourth developed since Fox & Crop’s launch in 2013 and continues to combine the brand’s evolving portrayal of classic British style with the outstanding quality and craftsmanship of its products.
The 2015 Spring/Summer men’s collection includes a range of polos, woven shirts and fine knits, along with swimwear, tees and cargo shorts to truly bring in the summer season. The women’s range includes a selection of fitted shirts, tees and knitwear.
Brand creator Matt Payne said: “Fox & Crop is still in its infancy, which gives us the versatility to react to the habits of our clients and act on what we have learned from previous collections, while staying true to the brand’s original inspirations.
“We wanted SS15 to be a reflection of some of the big trends for this summer, coupled with the classic, premium looks that continue to be the cornerstone of the brand.
“Spring/Summer is always a great season to work on because of the impact it can have on your clientele and the sense of anticipation it generates. The summer feel-good factor can be extremely powerful and we’re aiming to deliver a little of that to our customers in Leicestershire and beyond.”
Launched in 2013, Fox & Crop is the first standalone fashion brand to be established by a professional football club - Premier League team Leicester City - and proudly takes its style inspiration from its ties to rural Leicestershire. Its emblem is the instantly recognisable fox's head atop two crossed crops. It is also an adaptation of one of the first crests worn by Leicester City Football Club, based on an original drawing that provided the first inspiration for the brand.
Its appeal, however, stretches far beyond the world of sport. Fox & Crop has already launched successful collaborations with Loake shoes and Sekonda watches, is an established range in high street store Fenwick Leicester and has attracted online shoppers from around Europe.
Its 2015 Spring/Summer collection was debuted by Leicester City footballer Matty James and reigning Miss Leicestershire Holly Desai during its promotional shoot in Portugal and both were present at Monday night’s launch event at The Exchange, Leicester.
Ian Flanagan, Commercial Director for Leicester City Football Club, said: “Fox & Crop remains the only independent fashion brand launched by a professional football club anywhere in the UK and, in less than two years, has established itself in an enormously competitive market.
“Commercially it is a project of immense potential, particularly with the support of an international retail heavyweight like King Power – the Club’s parent company – behind it and we look forward with great anticipation to the reception to SS15 from a our growing client base.”
