AFC Telford Loan For City Youngster

Leicester City Under-21s defender Karlton Watson is set to join Blue Square Premier side AFC Telford United on a month-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old former Nottingham Forest youth has previously spent time with Lincoln City prior joining the club’s Development Squad in November 2012.

Under the tutelage of coach Steve Beaglehole, Watson has put in some impressive performances for the young Foxes since signing, and netted City’s goal in a 1-1 draw with Leeds United Under-21s on January 28.

Watson will be available to play in the Bucks’ Saturday 9 February trip to Grimsby Town in the league as manager Mark Cooper looks to guide his 21st placed side back to mid-table safety.
