Taggart, speaking to LCFC Radio at the full-time whistle, felt the outcome of the game was a fair one and applauded Craig Shakespeare for the way Leicester recovered from a goal down in West Yorkshire.
“Leicester City have come away with a 1-1 draw and they can’t complain with that,” Taggart told LCFC Radio. “I didn’t think it was a great game of football, but that’s probably more down to the way Huddersfield play.

“They stifled Leicester City for large periods. The second half was spot on. It was a lot better from Leicester City in the second half and they controlled the game for large parts in all fairness.
“The tactics at half-time from Craig Shakespeare worked a treat. They were just unfortunate that they couldn’t quite find that final ball that would make the difference between winning and drawing the game.
“The one clear chance that stands out is the Jamie Vardy one at the far post following Riyad Mahrez’s fantastic bit of individual skill. He fired it across goal and unfortunately Jamie Vardy just couldn’t get his toe on it.
Jamie Vardy converts from the spot at John Smith's Stadium.
“At the end of it, 1-1 is a fair result.”
