Speaking following the success over Chelsea, the Development Squad manager expressed his excitement ahead of this Wednesday’s clash after such a successful latest outing.
“Every game presents a different test,” he said, previewing the Hertha tie. “It’ll be nice to be back at King Power Stadium, it was a great night when we played West Ham there.”
On the Chelsea match, he added: “We had a game plan to stop them playing. They are a good side. We worked extremely hard to stop them from playing out from the back.”
Thomas in form
Having signed from Coventry City this summer, midfielder Thomas has settled in quickly with the Club’s Development Squad, scoring four goals already in PL2.
