The Spaniard made his first Premier League appearance for Craig Shakespeare’s men prior to the international break after coming on at half-time during the goalless draw against Bournemouth.

His maiden start for the Club came in the form of a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Liverpool and after playing the full 90 minutes in that game, the summer recruit knows just how fearsome the King Power Stadium atmosphere can be.

“I think that it’s very important for us to win the games at our stadium with our fans,” Iborra told LCFC TV ahead of the game. “If we win the games at home, I think that we will hit our objectives at the end of the season.

“The atmosphere at King Power Stadium against Liverpool was very nice. I’m happy to play in our stadium and win against a very important team like Liverpool. I enjoyed the game a lot.

Vicente Iborra makes his first Premier League appearance against Bournemouth.

“I want to continue to play minutes with the team now in the Premier League in the next game. It’s a very important game for us and I’ll try to help the team win the game and climb the table.

“It’s very important for us to train and work every day with tranquility and confidence. West Brom is a very strong team, as are all the teams, but the most important thing is us. If we play well, 100 per cent, with the help of our fans, we can win the game.

“In football, the most important thing is the result. If we win, all the players and staff are happy and the work is better.”

Out of action at the start of the season due to a groin problem, Iborra says he has now fully recovered and is looking forward to future game time for the Foxes.

Discussing the squad’s return to Belvoir Drive after the international break, Iborra added: “It was good for me to rest and recover.

“Now, I can start at 100 per cent. I’m very good – I’ve played and trained normally over the last few weeks so my feeling is very good.

“My feelings are positive because now, I’m 100 per cent recovered from my groin problem and my fitness is very good.

“I think that I can improve a lot and I want to improve a lot. I’m working hard in training to improve and to help the team.”
