The Foxes will contest 11 games in the space of 39 days from the end of November to the start of January, with a bumper eight matches coming in December.

Fuchs feels the final international break of the year will provide those not away with their nations the chance to recover ahead of that busy period, but first up is a tough clash with Stoke City at bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

Fuchs told LCFC TV: “I’m looking forward to all those games and this tight schedule in December. I think it’s seven or eight games, so it’s going to be tough.

Fuchs Eyes Stoke Win

Christian Fuchs discusses the value of claiming three points from the Premier League clash with Stoke City on Saturday.

“I think it’s down to which team recovers the best because there are so many games that you cannot think about anything. You just keep going. Hopefully, we’ll collect a lot of points.

“First, we have to get the positive result on Saturday – that’s our main goal. After that, it feels good to have a little break with December coming up. It refreshes your thoughts and you come back completely focused.

“As I heard recently, I’m a senior member already so I need some time off. Not physically necessarily, but mentally. I think there’s a lot of thought processes going on right now. We have a new manager and he’s trying to implement his new ideas.”

The Austrian enjoys a training session at Belvoir Drive.

Fuchs is looking forward to developing his relationship with new City boss Claude Puel, who on Sunday led the Foxes to a 2-0 triumph over Everton.

“It always takes some time to show the team his philosophy and ideas,” added Fuchs. “They’re obviously new.

“I don’t think he will change everything drastically but he has a couple of new approaches which I think are good for us.

“Some of these approaches we already saw in the Everton game. We won that game as we know and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
