Kasper Schmeichel

Huge Evening For Schmeichel’s Denmark

Kasper Schmeichel will be hoping to help Denmark qualify for the 2018 World Cup when his nation take on the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday night.
More on this story...

- Kasper Schmeichel's Denmark face the Republic of Ireland in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Dublin
- Schmeichel's nation drew 0-0 with Martin O'Neill's men last week
- Up to 14 Foxes could feature for their nations on Tuesday

The Leicester City stopper completed 90 minutes in last week's goalless first leg clash at Telia Parken, with the return tie taking place at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin.

If Denmark advance, it may just be the first time Schmeichel has ever made an appearance at the finals of a major tournament.

Elsewhere, Foxes trio Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa could all feature in Nigeria's international friendly clash with Argentina in Krasnodar, Russia.

Jamie Vardy could add to his 19 caps when England face the Netherlands away on Friday 23 March (7:45pm kick-off) and Italy at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday 27 March (8pm).

Andy King's Wales also take on Panama, while Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy will be aiming to build on their positive performances for England against Germany when the Three Lions host Brazil at Wembley Stadium.

Leicester duo Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani, who both featured in Friday's draw with Nigeria, may also take to the field as Algeria host Central Africa.

The final senior City star who could potentially be in action is Aleksandar Dragovic, as Austria entertain Uruguay in Vienna.
