Vardy Strike Up For Goal Of The Month Award

- Jamie Vardy nominated for Carling Goal of the Month award for the second time this season
- The England international striker’s volley against Tottenham Hotspur has been shortlisted for November’s accolade
- Vardy faces seven other Premier League stars for the award

For the second straight month, Vardy is up for the accolade, having also had his effort against Everton at the end of October shortlisted.

While that strike rounded off a brilliant team move, Vardy’s goal against Mauricio Pochettino’s men proved to be a simply excellent solo strike.

After darting into the box, City’s No.9 latched onto Marc Albrighton’s pin-point pass before lifting a volley over France international Hugo Lloris to help the Foxes to a memorable win.
