Puel Meets Fans At 1884 Club Christmas Party

Launched last month, The 1884 Club is a members’ society for box holders and hospitality clients at King Power Stadium on Premier League matchdays throughout the 2017/18 campaign.
Puel was the special guest for a Q&A session last Thursday with Foxes legend Ally Mauchlen, where a wide variety of topics, both football and lifestyle based, were discussed at length.

Claude Puel attended the 1884 Club Christmas party at Cafe Bruxelles in Leicester to celebrate the festive period...
“It’s very important to give the supporters moments like these,” Puel told LCFC TV. “It is to say thank you to them for their support because it is crucial for the team.
“I am enjoying it in Leicester, I have a good relationship with the fans and now we must try to continue this feeling, to have some ambition to continue to good work we have done together.”
Meanwhile, Mauchlen, a hospitality host on Filbert Way, added: “It is what I would class as an intimate club. Rather than just turning up to watch football, the Club is trying to integrate these people more.
“To treat them to nights like this is something they couldn’t do before. It’s been very interesting indeed, we had a Scotsman interviewing a Frenchman so it was very interesting!”
Over the 2017/18 campaign, the Club will become further engaged with those members to expand their experiences of Leicester City beyond Filbert Way matchdays.
Membership of The 1884 Club is by invitation for City’s clients from the Premier Lounge and The Gallery areas at King Power Stadium.
