Puel: Raise Our Game

Following a 0-0 stalemate at Highbury Stadium earlier this month, the Foxes are intent on completing the job in their Third Round replay against Uwe Rosler’s Sky Bet League 1 outfit.
While Puel anticipates Fleetwood to present another stern challenge on Filbert Way, the Frenchman says his side know what they must do in order to secure safe passage.
“I think know we know very well this team very well after the first game, we must raise our game,” he told the assembled national media on Filbert Way this Monday afternoon.
Puel: We Want To Progress
Claude Puel spoke to the national media to preview Tuesday's clash against Fleetwood Town.
“We want to be in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup and we need to make a strong game against this team. It is a good team with good potential, powerful, and they are strong.
“Now we have the chance to play at home and it is important to put it right for the second game. It is important to play these games and to give our best.
“It is a good experience for the future for our young players. It is not easy. It is not just Leicester, other teams had some difficulties too. It’s important now to put it right.
“It is an important competition. The FA Cup is a tradition in England.”
Puel says the FA Cup is competition which offers his side an exciting opportunity to win more silverware and, in front of the Blue Army on Tuesday night, there is a chance to progress.
“It is very important, like the French Cup,” he added. “It is an opportunity to play against teams from other divisions. All the fans and the people like this competition.
“It is important to respect this competition and for us to try to go far in this competition. We need to start tomorrow against this good team.
“Step by step, we need to build our journey in the cup. Of course, we need to raise our game for tomorrow.”
