Dragović: Play Our Game

Aleksandar Dragović wants Leicester City to focus on their own strengths when Watford visit King Power Stadium on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

- Leicester City will aim to learn from their most recent clash with Watford ahead of Saturday’s game, says Aleksandar Dragović
- The centre back has helped the Foxes keep four consecutive shutouts
- Dragović has enjoyed playing at King Power Stadium since making his home Premier League debut on New Year’s Day
- City host the Hornets on Filbert Way on Saturday (3pm kick-off)

The Foxes faced Marco Silva’s men on Boxing Day and while they were beaten 2-1, Dragović, who made his first Premier League start in that fixture, felt his side deserved something from the game.

Now, the target is to ensure that City build on Tuesday’s win over Fleetwood Town and after keeping a clean sheet in their last four outings, Dragović is confident they can beat the Hornets at the second time of asking this term.

“Very hard,” reflected Dragović on City’s most recent outing against Watford. “They only looked to fight with us.

“We must learn from this game and improve and don’t make fouls near our area so they don’t lead to set pieces. We play at home and we must make the game. We want to win in our stadium.

Dragovic Targets Watford Win

Aleksandar Dragović talks to LCFC TV ahead of the Foxes' game against Watford on Saturday...

“We must play football and not to make long balls always. We want to try to play and I think this is the most important thing on Saturday.”

Last month, both of Watford’s goals came as a result of set plays and Dragović says his side have worked hard in order to prevent that again on Saturday.

He added: “We’ve trained a lot on set pieces because in the past we had a lot of goals from set pieces.

“Now, this year, we haven’t got one goal, so I hope on Saturday we get the win without conceding a goal. But if we win 3-2, I’m happy and the three points are important in the end.”

The Austrian has made seven appearances for the Foxes so far.

Dragović revealed it has been a pleasure to play at King Power Stadium in front of the Blue Army and with a string of important fixtures coming up, the Austria international will again be hoping to impress this weekend.

“I always like to play at home than away,” added Dragović. “This is normal.

“I think with our supporters, it’s beautiful to play there. I am always happy when I can play and to go onto the pitch.”
