Antonio Conte’s men visit King Power Stadium in the hope of bouncing back from their midweek UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of Spanish giants Barcelona.

Albrighton knows just how much of an influence the Club’s fans can have when sides of Chelsea’s calibre come to Filbert Way and it will be no different on Sunday.

“I think they’re all as important as each other,” Albrighton said ahead of the game. “We’ve got a target that we want to reach in the league and we’ve got a target that we want to reach in the cup. Every single game will play a part in us reaching those targets.

Albrighton Optimistic Ahead Of Final Months

Marc Albrighton caught up with LCFC TV in Marbella ahead of Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie against Chelsea.

“We’ve got an important game against a top, top side. It’s going to be a very difficult game and we need everyone to get behind us.

“As players, we need to galvanise, show some spirit and show some togetherness again, and we need the fans behind us to make it a great atmosphere like it can be.”

Last time out for City, the winger emerged from the bench to help his side to a convincing 4-1 win at the Hawthorns over West Bromwich Albion.

The triumph was rounded off by Vicente Iborra, who nodded in Albrighton’s corner – his seventh assist of the Premier League campaign.

He added: “The manager obviously said that he wants to make an impact when I come off the bench and I feel like I did that.

“I got my assist and I felt like I played my part in the victory. That’s always good from my point of view and obviously the team’s point of view.”
