Academy Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist

About The Role

Based at the Leicester City Training Ground, the key duties of this role include:

- Providing physiotherapy services during evening training and weekends within the Academy
- Ensuring appropriate assessment and diagnosis of injuries sustained by players within the Academy
- Ensuring appropriate physiotherapeutic interventions to players with injuries ensuring that prevention of injury strategies are implemented within the Academy
- To ensure comprehensive medical notes are completed To attend games and provide immediate attention to any injuries sustained

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

- Be qualified to the minimum Therapist requirement as set out in the FA Premier League and regulations
- Hold a current FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football
- Holds or willing to acquire an FA Safeguarding Qualification
- Have an in-depth understanding of company policies/procedures and other legislative regulations relating to role
- Have excellent communications sills Have the ability to work on own initiative
