Youth Development Phase Strength & Conditioning Coach

The Club is recruiting for a Youth Development Phase Strength & Conditioning Coach to work at Belvoir Drive.

About The Role

Based at the Leicester City Training Ground the key duties of this role include:

- Supporting the HASS or LASCC whenever required in the design and implementation of training practices at LCFC
- Assist in delivery strength and power development training periodised individual specific training programmes for U16-U21 players
- Assist the medical department with the individual fitness development of injured YDP players
- Deliver and maintain a Physical Competency program in the Foundation and Youth Development phase players in conjunction with all staff
- Carry out administrative duties as required as part of the strength and conditioning monitoring and feedback process including contributing to daily and 6 weekly multi-disciplinary meetings with player reviews for YDP, FP and Thai International Academy
 

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

- Sports Science honours degree
- Recognised qualification in strength and conditioning i.e., YMCA Fitness Instructor, BAWLA Leaders award
- Previous experience of working with a sports team and teaching young athletes
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Flexibility in working hours, be prepared to work unsocial hours
