Young Foxes Conclude Season With Norwich Victory

Leicester City’s Academy side concluded their Premier League U18 South campaign with a brilliant 4-1 success over Norwich City at Belvoir Drive on Saturday.
More on this story...

Kairo Edwards-John gave the young Foxes the lead in the 15th minute and, following Adam Idah’s leveller shortly after, Conor Tee resumed their one-goal advantage before half-time.

During a competitive second half, the Canneries stifled City for long periods, until the latter moments when Kairo’s brother, Dempsey Arlott-John, notched a brace from the bench late on.

As a result, Trevor Peake’s side climb to fifth in the South Division, after finishing 12th last season, although they must wait on results elsewhere for their final ranking to be confirmed.

The details…

City: Stolarczyk, Husek, Ughelumba, Gyamfi, Myring, Thomas, Tee (c), Trialist, Tavares, Shade, Edwards-John (Artlott-John 77)

Subs not used: Davies, Elewa-Ikpakwu, James, Pennant

Goals: Edwards-John 15, Tee 41, Arlott-John 88, 90+1
