Leicester City Travel To Manchester United In 2018/19 Premier League Opener

Leicester City will begin their 2018/19 Premier League campaign with a game against Manchester United at Old Trafford after the full fixture list was announced on Thursday morning.

- Newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers will visit King Power Stadium a week later for City’s first home game
- The Foxes are set to host Manchester City on Boxing Day, as well as travelling to Everton on New Year’s Day
- They end the Premier League season with a home game against Chelsea on Sunday 12 May

The Foxes will take on the Red Devils on Saturday 11 August in a 3pm kick-off at Old Trafford, as they look to build on an impressive opening day record of six wins in 10 games in the Premier League.

Leicester City’s first game at King Power Stadium comes a week later on Saturday 18 August, when newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers visit King Power Stadium for the first time since 2013.

Claude Puel’s men then head to Southampton, host Liverpool and travel south to face AFC Bournemouth before a home clash with Huddersfield Town completes their opening six games.

The Foxes are at home twice over the festive period with Premier League champions Manchester City to visit on Boxing Day, before promoted Cardiff City also head to King Power Stadium three days later.

Everton are the opposition at Goodison Park in the first fixture of 2019 on New Year’s Day, while Puel’s side will also face a testing end to the campaign. A home game against Arsenal on Saturday 27 April, will be followed by a visit to Manchester City a week later before the team return to King Power Stadium to host Chelsea on the final day on Sunday 12 May.
