- New signings Jonny Evans and James Maddison were both in attendance
- City's international stars will report back for training later this month

A sun-drenched Belvoir Drive was the setting as preparations began for an exciting pre-season schedule, during which the Foxes will face Notts County (A), Valencia CF (H) and Lille OSC (A).

Summer signings Jonny Evans and James Maddison were among the contingent from Claude Puel’s seniors, while fellow new boy Ricardo Pereira – and the Club’s other international representatives – will link up with their City team-mates later this month.

After a light morning session in the gym, the squad moved onto the dome, where the gruelling fitness testing began, under the watchful eye of Puel and new Assistant Manager Jacques Bonnevay – as well as senior coaching team Pascal Plancque, Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler.

Also among the group were last season's loan contingent, including Andy King, Leonardo Ulloa, Papy Mendy, Bartosz Kapustka and Callum Elder.
