Foxes In France As Pre-Season Intensifies

A blend of experienced first teamers and exciting Academy youngsters headed out to Évian-les-Bains on Sunday prior to a week of pre-season training.

- Leicester City touched down in Geneva on Sunday for six days of pre-season training in Évian-les-Bains
- It will be manager Claude Puel’s maiden pre-season trip with the Foxes
- A number of Academy stars have also travelled with the first team

The shores of Lake Geneva will be Leicester City’s base for the week, as they step up preparations for a fifth-straight season in the Premier League.

Several stars will be embarking upon their first pre-season with the Club, including Northern Ireland centre back Jonny Evans, England youth international James Maddison and manager Claude Puel.

Speaking to LCFC TV, Puel said: “All of the training camps are important, but it’s a good opportunity for some young players, some Academy players to come with us and it will be a good opportunity for us know the experienced players in different training sessions.

“It’s a good opportunity for young players to show their quality and perhaps to come for the future with the squad.”

After landing at Geneva airport on Sunday afternoon, City’s first session will commence on Monday morning.

Exclusive coverage of the trip can be found across LCFC.com and the Club’s social media accounts in the coming days.
