City's Under-23s Claim Bournemouth Pre-Season Victory

The Foxes started brightly at the Club’s training ground as Bartosz Kapustka’s fearsome effort from just outside the area handed them an early lead inside 60 seconds.
In what became a tight first half from thereon, Josh Gordon’s long range effort, tipped over the bar, was City’s best opportunity to double their advantage ahead of the half-time break.
While the Cherries levelled the scores in the 50th minute, Leicester bounced back immediately through George Thomas just a minute later, with the Wales international cutting inside his man on the edge of the area and arrowing it into the bottom corner from the right side of the box.
Another Gordon shot was palmed away by the Bournemouth ‘keeper on the hour mark while the former Stafford Rangers striker also skimmed the bar from distance.
However, a third goal eventually came for the Foxes as substitute Conor Tee, the 2017/18 Academy Player of the Season, curled a lovely effort into the roof of the net from distance on 73 minutes.
Players to feature included England and Romania youth internationals Darnell Johnson and Alex Pascanu, alongside Lamine Kaba Sherif, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tyrese Shade and Calvin Ughelumba.
