Bristol Rovers and Exeter City face each other in next week’s qualifying round to determine which side will complete the group.
The Foxes will participate in Group D of the competition that runs alongside the FA Youth Cup.
The competition is in the UEFA Champions League style with 32 clubs in the main group stage with each team playing their opposing club home and away.
The top two teams qualify for the knockout stage which will all be one-off ties.
Like Premier League 2, it will be contested between Under-23 teams, with each side allowed three over-age outfield players and a goalkeeper born before 1 January 1994.
Last season Leicester City reached the semi-finals of the competition after finishing top of Group F and beating Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the knockout stages.
Fixture dates, times and locations will be confirmed on LCFC.com in due course.
