- Leicester City welcome Liverpool to King Power Stadium on Saturday (12:30pm BST kick-off)
- The Foxes have won their last three matches in all competitions
- Jürgen Klopp's visitors lead the early Premier League table and are yet to concede
- Puel says he is looking forward to seeing how his side adapt against a 'great' Liverpool side
The Reds have won all three of their opening Premier League fixtures this season, without conceding a single goal, leaving them top of the table ahead of Saturday's Filbert Way encounter.
However, Puel insists that his Foxes side have the ability to cause problems for any defence and is looking forward to seeing them come up against Klopp’s talented outfit.
“We know that we are playing a great team with confidence, they play good football and I think it is an exciting game for us to play,” he said on Thursday.
Puel: We Know Their Quality
Claude Puel showed a confident hand at today's press conference, ahead of an exciting clash with Liverpool at the weekend.
“They haven’t conceded a goal so it will be a good opportunity to be the first. I think we have a good feeling and we are confident.
“We want to show our quality against this team. We know we need to play with a good intensity and do good things with and without the ball.
“We need to be clinical in both boxes and to show our quality. It is an opportunity for all my young players and experienced players. We will see, it is exciting.”
Without Jamie Vardy, who will serve the final match of a three-game suspension, City have scored six goals in two games and Puel is once again backing his squad to find the net.
Classic Goals Against Liverpool

“We know how important Jamie is against good teams,” he added.
“He scored a lot last season but we have different players, young players who can take his place and give their best. I said it was always an opportunity for players to show their quality.
“I was happy, for example, about our game against Fleetwood because we made rotation but it was a very good game, especially our mentality and play.
“At 4-0 we continued to respect this team and that is a good feeling from all the squad. We need to keep it.”
