- Leicester City's Marc Albrighton previews Saturday's trip to AFC Bournemouth (3pm BST kick-off)
- The Foxes head to Vitality Stadium striving to secure a third Premier League victory
- Albrighton believes City can take a lot of positives from their start to the 2018/19 campaign
“I think in terms of performances, it’s been very good,” the City winger said. “We’re probably pleased with three out of the four performances [in the league].
“In terms of results, I think it’s been quite mixed. We’ve played two of the top six and not picked any points up which is not what we accept, we want to take points off them.
Training Special: AFC Bournemouth
The lads were hard at work this morning at Belvoir Drive as they prepare for their trip to the south coast to face AFC Bournemouth...
“Some might see them as bonus points but we want to get them points and take them off the big six because they play a massive role at the end of the season if you picked up those points.
“They add up very well if you’re playing against teams around you. We’ve had indifferent spells in a couple of the games but as the games have gone on, I think we’ve come into it and we’ve scored goals.
“We’re not having a problem at the minute finding the net, so hopefully that can continue and we can carry on the good performances and pick up some good results.”
On the task at hand on Saturday, Albrighton is wary of Bournemouth’s treat, but knows City have the ability to return to Leicester with three points.
He added: “They’ve started really well. We know what we’re up against, we know the way they play, they play some nice football.
“But they’ve got a lot of grit and determination as well so I think, if we can match them in the hard work stakes, then I feel like we’ve got the ability to get past them footballing-wise.
“Hopefully that can see us through to getting a good result.”
