With their tourist duties complete, it was time for the mascots – in America for Premier League Live – to go head-to-head in a range of sports, including a race from which Filbert emerged victorious.
The following day, a morning of Premier League Live celebrations took place at Capitol View on N. Capitol Street, where Filbert joined some of the most dedicated fans in the country to watch Leicester City beat Newcastle United 2-0 in England’s top flight.

Not only did Filbert travel 3,598 miles to Washington D.C., a combined total of 9,530 miles was accumulated by some of the travelling City fans, who were invited as part of the Club’s International Fox Membership scheme. They made their way from places as far reaching as Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta!
The Fan Festival also included a turf pitch, virtual reality headsets and competitions, while those in attendance had the opportunity to have a photograph taken with the Premier League trophy, which City lifted in 2016.
