Russ Fires Under-18s To Win At Southampton

Will Russ' 28th minute strike propelled Leicester City's Under-18s to a 1-0 victory over Southampton at Staplewood Training Centre on Saturday.

Following last weekend's 3-0 victory at Aston Villa, the young Foxes now sit fourth in the U18 Premier League South standings, although they are nine points adrift of leaders Tottenham Hotspur.

Several of City's stars have benefited with time training alongside the Club's Development Squad over recent weeks and their progress has been notable. 

Leicester youngsters will attempt to make it three successive victories when they tackle West Ham United at the Club's training ground on Saturday 3 November (12pm BST kick-off).

Following that, it's a return to Premier League Cup duties for the young Foxes as they welcome Blackburn Rovers to Belvoir Drive the following Saturday (12pm BST kick-off).
