- Chilwell has been proud of the togetherness shown by everyone at King Power Stadium over the past fortnight

The Academy graduate started for the Foxes as they were held by Sean Dyche's Clarets at King Power Stadium, but he says the togetherness of the Club is what he will remember the most.

During the day, City's supporters, players and staff paid an emotional tribute to Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and the four other people who lost their lives on Saturday 27 October.

However, Claude Puel's young side battled their emotions and handled the occasion impressively, putting in a performance to be proud of, says Chilwell.

"It was difficult," Chilwell told LCFC TV, reflecting on Saturday as a whole. "Leading into the game, there’s obviously been a lot of emotion.

"The past two weeks have been difficult, but it’s pulled us together, we’ve become stronger for it.

Chilwell: Our Strength Is Our Togetherness

Ben Chilwell talks to LCFC TV after an emotional afternoon at King Power Stadium for the visit of Burnley in the Premier League.

"Today we just wanted to go out and put in a good performance for ‘The Boss’."

Following last weekend's memorable 1-0 win at Cardiff City, the Foxes squad travelled to Thailand for Khun Vichai's funeral before returning to training in preparation for Saturday's fixture.

City played admirably in challenging circumstances, but Chilwell says everyone can be proud of how they conducted themselves on an emotional afternoon.

"In a weird way, everyone was looking forward to being back here," he added. "We knew the fans were going to be amazing and the atmosphere was going to electric – and it was.

"Even after the game, the fans hung about and clapped us all around the pitch, and clapped Top around the pitch, which was really nice.

"I think that just shows the togetherness and especially the support that the fans have given us.

"It shows how together everyone is and how much the fans have supported us. A performance like that deserves credit, I feel like we played well, especially considering the circumstances.

"I feel like we put in a good performance and it was just one of those games where we couldn’t get a goal."
