The LCFC Community Trust offered various gestures of goodwill to those less fortunate during the Christmas period as part of a #GiveBack to the Leicestershire region this month.

- #GiveBack took place across the week commencing 17 December and impacted a range of people from school children to staff at LCFC
As part of this scheme, a number of people and organisations were positively impacted.
Last week, the Community Trust enjoyed a visit to Park Lodge Project, where students from Sir Jonathan North Community College came up with the idea to donate items such as toothbrushes and deodorants to Park Lodge in wrapped-up shoeboxes, documented by Premier League Productions.
Park Lodge Project work with homeless young adults to help them get on their feet, as well as offering them a bed.
On Thursday, pupils from Braunstone Community Primary School – nationally recognised as an area of high deprivation – received LCFC pencil cases.
Then, to end the working week, the Community Trust team split into two groups to go to two different locations.
The first location was in Charnwood, where one half of the group litter picked, raked and maintained the Dishley Park Run route, which included club legends Gerry Taggart and Steve Walsh.
Meanwhile, the other half were at the Woodside Animal Centre, in north Leicester, organising pet food donations and tidying a number of rooms in time for the busy Christmas period.
